Meet Dr Luxmi Velauthar
Dr Luxmi Velauthar is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with expertise spanning the full spectrum of women’s health. She provides specialist care for women with both routine and complex gynaecological conditions, while also supporting women throughout pregnancy with expert obstetric care.
With many years of consultant experience in both the NHS and private practice, Dr Velauthar has developed extensive expertise in the investigation and management of conditions including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, menopause, fertility concerns, cervical abnormalities and early pregnancy complications. Her clinical practice also encompasses preventative women’s healthcare, cervical screening, diagnostic procedures and comprehensive pregnancy care.
Known for her calm, approachable manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr Velauthar believes that every woman should have a clear understanding of her diagnosis and the treatment options available. She takes a thorough and considered approach to every consultation, ensuring that each patient receives expert advice, appropriate investigations and treatment recommendations based on the latest clinical evidence.
