Dr Luxmi Velauthar is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Clinical Director of Gynaecology Clinic London, with more than 25 years of experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of women’s health conditions. She provides specialist care for menopause, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, PCOS, ovarian cysts, cervical abnormalities, contraception, fertility concerns, and other complex gynaecological conditions.

Her clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of gynaecological conditions, including menstrual disorders, pelvic pain, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), ovarian cysts, cervical abnormalities, fertility concerns, and recurrent miscarriage.

In addition, Dr Velauthar has a particular interest in fetal medicine and high-risk pregnancy care, including the management of pre-eclampsia, fetal growth restriction, preterm birth, and other complex obstetric conditions. Education & Training

Dr Luxmi Velauthar graduated from the University of Dundee Medical School before undertaking specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within some of London’s leading teaching hospitals. Following completion of her specialist training, she was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), a prestigious qualification recognising advanced expertise in women’s health and specialist gynaecological care.

Dedicated to continually advancing her knowledge and improving outcomes for women, Dr Velauthar pursued higher academic training and completed a Doctorate in Medical Research (MD(Res)) at Queen Mary University of London. Her doctoral research focused on the prediction and prevention of pre-eclampsia and other pregnancy complications, contributing to the understanding of maternal and fetal health and helping to inform evidence-based clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Velauthar has combined academic excellence with extensive clinical experience, enabling her to provide patients with the latest evidence-based investigations and treatments.
